  1. What to do? I can name a few: the USA could start by honoring the treaties that they broke and return the land to the original inhabitants. Then, freedom of religion, freedom from federal, state or local authorities , freedom of organizing as a sovereign tribe, freedom of native speech, write a factually correct history about what has happened, equality for the law, recognize native people law, etc, etc.

  2. What we learn from the past is, that it is very profitable to steal land, resources, subdue people into (wage)slavery? Do not fool yourself. The details have changed, but the old ways still work.
