  2. The USA needs it "little brother" in the Middle-East and will not pressure the Israëli's. It is the USA which is more dependent in this relationship. Of course there will some reciprocity in arm-twisting, but in the end, geographically, the USA needs the military base Israël. By the way, the USA banking system, other financial institutions and politics has many Israël advocates, many by birth. They will support keeping the money taps open towards Israël. Politically, Israël and the USA are hand in glove.
