Rutte (liberal) was ousted a number of times, but never wanted to give up the power of the PM. Next to him is Dick Schoof, the present PM of the Netherlands with exactly ZERO votes, because he was not on any party ticket. Schoof is the previous head of the Dutch security services AIVD and NCTV with whom Rutte collaborated over ~13 years. He was pushed to the front, when Wilders, who had won the previous elections by a margin, was not allowed by the liberals and christen-democrats to become PM. Democracy stinks like hell!
