I miss you, Desert Drifter. Thanks for all the beauty you shared, that I would otherwise never have seen. RIP, Andrew, dearly missed.

Really enjoyed your adventure. Beautiful traces of ancient people. Pottery traces, drawings, tools, what a treasure trove. Man, so beautiful, you made me feel men in time. What a phenomeal trip you gave me. With full respect! Thanks.

What a beautiful ruggedness. No doubt the ancients had an, at least partially, nomadic lifestyle, how happy must they have been to return to the seclusion of this heavenly valley. Thanks for what you do and say, leaving no traces, but for the vid's.

A great video! The enclosure stirs up visions. Nice to hear a story of how the horse came to the Crow. Impressive people!

Horrible news comes down the line. My thoughts are with Andrew, the Desert Drifter, Evelyn and all their loved ones. Much strength, patience and hope. The sun is just rising in the Netherlands, as always.

Another awesome video. I wouldn't feel save doing what you are doing, so the close ups are really appreciated. Even from down in the valley bottom the impression these dwellings made, are making one wish to travel in time. Wonderful.

Maybe consider that before the white Americans came into the area, the Spaniards were there a few hundred years. They hunted the native people as slaves for their mining industry (men) and as household/sex slaves (women). The margin for life, doubtlessly, was seriously decreased for native people and, with their knowledge and experience, they probably went as remote as possible to evade capture. Was is mostly corn that they learne to grow as part of their sedentary lifestyle? Hugely enjoy your videos and your gentle and thoughtful musings.

Filled with admiration for what you do and how you do it! Let the respect you show be an example for others, when daily news is filled with the horrors of war (2nd feb 2024). Just, WOW. What beautiful architecture! In a way, the stark environment brings you closer to those people long gone. What a totally remarkable lives must they have led from the perspective where we are now, or let's not speak for others, where I am now. It seems to me that every soul counted for those communities.
