  1. In general lines, I agree with you and it is a tragedy. But do not forget that the USA profited from the war big time. The reward for the USA of blowing up Nordstream is giant LNG gas revenues (2023 about 180 Bn $$) from sales to Europe and some others. American agricultural giants (Monsanto, Cargill, others) are leasing or owning 100.000's acres of Ukrainian farmland. They will syphon profit away from Ukrainian people. Blackrock is ready to start reconstruction of Ukraine from USA and EU taxpayer money, which impoverishes the USA and EU populations. Only owners and shareholders of Blackrock will benefit. Ukraine, within the Soviet Union and later outside of it, can do the reconstruction themselves. Why make yourself dependent on parasitic foreign companies? That is another evolving tragedy.

  2.  @michroz  Russian was the only party interested in peace. See: Minsk1 in 2014, Minsk2 in 2015 and Istanbul in 2022. All these potential peace agreements were betrayed by Hollande (France), Merkel (Germany), Poroshenko (Ukraine) and Boris Johnson (UK). The west is treacherous! USA-CA-UK-EU wanted to break open Russia to explore and profit from its natural resources and used the Ukr-nazi's to train them to NATO standards, at least since 2014. We have all seen that the west stopped most diplomacy with Russia in the 21st century and all diplomacy since 24th of February 2022 until today.
