  15. With the historical changes put into motion by the USSR around 1990, we could have lived by now in a peaceful world involving the Arab world, Africa, South-East Asia, Russia and China. The West decided that "war" was the best way to achieve control over land, populations and resources. The idea to cooperate with people has since early colonial times not been a prevalent force in our thinking.
