  3. In Michigan the same families visited only for the cherry harvest. This went on for decades. That appeared to be a win-win situation. . .but I never did a deep dive. Just appeared that they were happy to come, with entire family, legally, & part time only, & then were happy to return to their loved Mexico.

The band leader is Orange Malevolent P T Barnum, King of the Grifters. There were a few yrs where a good # of folks managed to aquire bits of land, home, education - thru Unions, post W W2. Almost ALL black WW2 vets were excluded.
