  5. Oh oh oh . . .I am so sorry. I had it SO good: I spent one week every month for seven yrs with my deeeelightful father. Then, at 97, he needed me full time. That lasted 5 yrs. He needed a wheelchair. We were then in the pandemic. I reminded him he had to keep his leg strength because I am too petite for transferring. He kept his brain, joy, kindness, upbeat attitude . . .and me. We had a ball! He was always My Favorite Person. He died at age 102 1/2 of Covid. Btw - we had wonderful helpers for just 2 hrs every morning. (I found good people via word of mouth.) For 15 months though we were utterly alone. My 2 brothers did not lift a finger. I would have loved even 2 weeks off per year! My dad left me 1/3 of everything, BUT in addition, on his death bed, he gave me his house. Amen. I deserved it. I miss him every day.
