  1. Although I'm not fond of the idea of marrying off minors, society does need to have a serious conversation about "extended adolescence." It's more obvious than a sledgehammer to the crotch that mother nature intends for us to be adults well before 18, and that's why no society on Earth recognized a cut off for adulthood as high as 18 prior to the industrial age. This is where teenage angst comes from, no doubt, and we're starting to see it bleed into the early 20s.
