  1. Slavery is bad. The Holocaust is bad. Now tell your side that Mao Tse Tung, the guy who sort of killed 60 million people, most of whom faced the most horrible, lingering fate known to man (starvation), is bad. Because you still quote him with affection to these days. I remember there was a book in my college class titled "Half the Sky". You see history's greatest murderer as a feminist icon.

  4. That's a ridiculous number. Obviously many people died from slavery, but your numbers would make the institution grossly *unprofitable*, so obviously they're not true.
