  1. Except the gun was fake. He had no way of knowing that at a time, but still. It seems pretty cold not to call 911 even after figuring that out. I don't think he can be charged criminally but he's no hero.

  3. 2:36 Listening to it, it sounds like he shot fired the last four shots which hit when the perp was down but NOT disarmed. He fired one final shot (which missed) once he was disarmed. That was uncalled for, but it didn't actually hit. I wonder if he stopped firing because he was out of bullets at that point, or he reigned in his rage? I don't know. Either way, it seems pretty cold not to call 911, especially after realizing the gun was fake.

  7. I don't know that he committed a crime. It's definitely within our rights to shoot someone who pulls a gun but to not call 911 afterwards, even when you realize the gun was fake? That's pretty cold. I don't like thieves, but it's not a crime worth of death.

  8. In South Africa, it's literally illegal to shoot someone pointing a gun at you unless they shoot at you first. As a result, each home in the city is a fortress, and in the country you see babies boiled alive and four years olds crucified.
