  1. Totally. Sometimes I wonder if it's even possible to make the world a better place through prosperity, when Americans have so much more than everyone else and are still so bitter. It is much more important to be grateful for what you have than to have a lot, and the political left is working full throttle to make Americans ungrateful as possible, so they'll vote for more socialism.

  2. I hate how people call this movie "anti-corporate" or "anti-capitalist." The only thing that implies it's either is that the society they live in is 1) prosperous 2) has options. However, as far as I can tell everyone lives equally there and it could have just as well been a Communist society and the movie's message would have worked just as well (if Communism could ever produce something other than poverty, which its proponents want you believe it could). Its about the over mechanization of society. It's the movie equivalent of the song "In the year 2525." This could happen under any economic system if society advanced far enough.
