Christ, I think I'm going to be sick. Even if we all agree the age of consent should be 18, this was rape only in so much as slapping someone in the face is aggravated battery. Do you think adulthood is completely binary and there's no difference between 13 and 16? Or no difference between a 16 year old and an unwilling or unconscious person?

Animal...give me a break. She was 16, not a toddler. That's legally old enough to drop out of school, be criminally charged as an adult, and drive a care. It's less than 2 years from being able to be drafted into war. You don't care about her age, just his. When girls her age do it with their peers in high school it doesn't bother you in the slightest.

Because common sense would tell you adulthood isn't completely binary. You can be tried as an adult, drive, get a job, and drop out of school at 16. You can stay home without a baby sitter well before that.
