  1. No its really not, the world has been moving in the opposite direction with age of consent for a very long time. It was 14 in Canada just a decade or two ago.

  4. Age of consent has moved in the opposite direction in almost every country for the past 50 years. It was only 14 in Canada a decade or two ago.

  5. It's important to remember that humanity evolved in harsher times. It was important to get to making babies ASAP when there was a much more serious risk of dying in child birth or simply dying before you got laid. Also times were simpler, you basically knew what you would do with your life and had maybe three bachelors/bachelorettes in your village.
