@jaarneal We consider people with separate nervous systems separate people. A fetus has a brain within the first six weeks of pregnancy, yet libs were freaking out over the six week ban, saying it was essentially the same as a total ban on abortion because that's around when women find out they're pregnant.

Not to mention no intellectually honest person would call anything past the zygotic stage a "clump of cells". The zygote stage only lasts 2 weeks. Libs freaked out over a 6 week ban in Texas, saying this is just when most women find out they're pregnancy, and thus it was almost the same as a total abortion ban. A six week old feet has clearly defined features (a brain, a spine, a heart, eyes, etc.)

@jonahpatton8879 Most aborted babies are POCs.

It's their body? So pregnant women have two brains, two spines, four eyes, two hearts, etc?

@jaarneal Why is comparing a 6 week fetus' brain to an adult human brain comical, but comparing a freshly born baby's brain to an adult human brain is not comical? Your argument, logically extended, should legitimize infanticide, or at least make it significantly less punishable than the murder of an adult. A newborn's brain is only 1/3rd the size of an adult brain.

The KKK was a huge fan of Sanger so who really deserves a triple K in their name?

It's funny how they invoke the "my body, my choice" argument, when the idea of the ownership of your own body can only come from a place of religion. Your parents made your body, so logically you should be their property and chattel, if there are no natural/God given rights.

Liberalism is the belief that when women have to abstain long enough to save up for their own birth control it's The Hand Maiden's Tale, but men who don't want to pay child support can just abstain for the rest of their lives.

@jennifernordlund2691 Men have always been held accountable for fathering children they did not want, hence child support.
1
@jennifernordlund2691 And women have been able to get around abortion laws too. So what?
1
@kawika2974 How the hell do you determine whether someone "wants to accept the consequences" before a pregnancy has occurred?
1
So why allow states any rights by this logic?
1
@c-girl1216 Then why does Cali charge you with a double murder if you kill a pregnant woman?

The problem is women are taught that sex is a biological imperative and therefore they are entitled to sex. That's why a woman in France was able to sue her husband for not putting out enough in the marriage about a decade ago, when that would be unthinkable with the genders flipped.

Since forever we've laughed in the face of men who are saddled with children they didn't want because their wife "forgot" her pill. When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like the oppression.
