Jazz said he was a girl at age four, when he had no grasp on reality. His mom ran with it, and as such he continued to believe it until age 11, because mommy is a trusted authority figure, and prepubescent children have a very weak grasp on their "true" gender identity. Puberty may have set him straight, but he was robbed of that chance with puberty blockers.

No, he simply means "I have hobbies and interests that tend to be shared by people with bodies different than mine, so I think I'm born in the wrong body." Because his mom, a trusted authority, continued telling him he was a girl, he went with it. If his mom had said, "no, you're a boy", this person would have gotten over his GD by age six and by living a normal, healthy life right now.
