  1. Bernie is a charlatan. He says he's bringing the Scandinavian model to America, but the socialist elements of Scandinavia are not unique to Scandinavia. They are fairly ubiquitous. The Czech Republic, for instance, has two years of paid maternity leave and universal healthcare. What's uniquely Scandinavian is their far-right economic element: they have extremely flat taxes, school choice, etc. In Sweden, if you making under $37,000 a year you still pay about 50% taxes.
