  2. What? That question damn near broke my brain. If a simulation can generate sights and sounds, why not pain? Let's say we're brains in jars, the things we see are caused by electrodes stimulating our visual cortex. Why couldn't we have electrons stimulating whatever parts of the brain are responsible for pain?

  4. I think the problem with simulation theory to theologians is the evidence requires God to have limited computing power, else He wouldn't need to take these shortcuts.
