  4. Wikipedia refers to the Arecibo Answer as "The Arecibo crop circle hoax". These people tick me off to know end. Now don't get me wrong, it's likely a hoax, but to be so defensive as to put the word "hoax" in the title of the article even though there's no record of any humans entering that area...they seem to flaunt their intellectual dishonesty so blatantly. SETI said it was "highly improbable" it was anything other than a hoax, and some of their arguments were good, but their arguments were the same kind of things you could use to argue against old religious legends, yet you don't hear them refer to Biblical stories as "The Genesis Hoax" or "The Ten Commandments Hoax".

  5. I was just thinking, why would you need to pole vault to create discontinuous designs in crop circles? Couldn't you just walk to the other parts? I know you're thinking "because then they'd leave footprints", but wouldn't you leave those walking into the field in the first place?

  11. Why would you need to pole vault to make auxillary features of the pattern? Doesn't the pattern itself show up in the middle of a field? Yet no explanation for that is needed other than that they walked there.
