  3. Ben forgoes the thrill of feeling like a badass who’s sticking to the man in favor of the pursuit of truth. He’d rather be one of the ‘sheeple’ who sides with his government than a badass renegade. Everyone knows cynicism and going against ‘the man’ is a cheap way to look smart and take out your frustrations on the world, but Ben values intellectual honesty.

  6. During the 2008 economic crash the average citizen got zero stimulus checks in the mail. During COVID, which was not as bad on aggregate, we got three, and all we did was was cry and rage for more. The idea that Americans would be in any way grateful if the meager sums spent on Ukraine and Israel were spent on them instead is utterly out to sea.

Trump knew his key to power was to recruit all the worst of Democrat Party over to his base: the flag burning, terrorist hugging, tin foil hat, dictator worshippers who put Obama into power. Maybe that's not true of Carlson, but its true of his base. Just look at how the Truther movement has migrated from the left to the right over time and tell me the MAGA isn't a bunch of Democrat hand-me-downs.
