Where is this "their body" their choice when it comes to eating their vegetables, cleaning their room, or doing the 1000+ other things parents demand their kids do to be polite, well-rounded members of society. No where. So why is it suddenly an issue of "consent" when your grandpa wants a hug. The one and only possible explanation is that you see grandpa's hugs as sexual.

  9. I have mixed feelings about The Woman King. On one hand, 300 was guilty of doing exactly what this movie is doing, totally ignoring that the Spartan warrior culture was all about keeping a slave caste ("Helots") down. On the other hand, the left wants us to never forget the Confederates fought to preserve slavery, and wants every honor towards them taken down, but then make a movie glorifying Africa's Confederacy. Maybe at a different time, this would have worked.

Doctors regularly require permission slips signed by men's wives before getting vasectomies. These two things would be unthinkable in reverse.

  20. For Chrissakes, if less hairy women were not always considered more attractive, why have women been evolving to lose body hair faster than men? The fact is since the beginning of time, men have been selecting for less hairy women. Men are generally taller, more muscular, and have deeper voices than women. Thus the most attractive men are unusually tall, muscular, and baritone. Exaggerating your sexual dimorphism is almost always the way to become more attractive, this is just rudimentary common sense. Look at older paintings of, let's say, Venus, and show me one where she is hairy.

Nazi Germany actually invented the concept of "cultural appropriation". Why can I go 3 years without sex but women can't go without sex long enough to save up $30 for a bottle of pills, or $15 if they split it with a partner? Why do we tell men they should just keep in their pants if they can't afford $100,000 child support but don't tell the same to women who can't afford a $500 IUD?
