The anger I feel towards Republican Confederacy apologists is beyond words, as they give the Blue State baby killers an opportunity to think of themselves as "true Americans", and the people who who idolize tyrants and terrorists to pose as champions of human rights, all the while fueling the myth of the Party Switch, all so they can indulge their petty regionalism. So I have nothing kind to say about the Confederacy. That being said, I do think melting down the statue was wrong. I'm sure there are people worse than Robert E. Lee who still have statues in museums. Mark my words, though. They will come for Lincoln next, just as they stabbed Churchill in the back even though he was the West's sword against the Nazis.
