Never forget, the vast majority of victims of Islamic Terror are and will always be other Muslims. Even in Afghanistan, UN estimates say 80% of civilians killed during the Afghan War were killed by the Taliban.

80% of civilians in Afghanistan were killed by the Taliban (src: United Nations) and about 88% of civilians killed in Iraq were killed by "insurgents, militia, and terrorists" (src: Iraq Body Count, John Sloboda). They were mostly killed by people who thought like Bin Laden.

Things haven't changed. The youth was always like this.

@Refertech101 Oooh we got a badass playing stick-it-to-the-man here!
1
No. This is what the youth has always been like. This is what the millenials were like 10 - 15 years ago.

Islamic Terrorism has killed of your kin than it has of mine.
1
Al-qaeda (sp?) has done even worse to fellow Muslims.

Anti-Americanism was at least this bad back when I was growing up. It's probably been this way since the 1960s.

The youth were always like this. This is exactly how the millenials were 10 - 15 years ago.

The young people were just like this when I was growing up. They hated their own country, and were apologists for the worst people in the world so they could play their little stick-it-to-the-man games. They'll grow out of it.

This is nothing new. Flag burning, terrorist hugging dictator worshippers were a big part of the youth when I was growing up too.

@billeltot An April 2004 Gallup Poll showed Iraqis believed overthrowing Saddam Hussein was "worth it" by a margin of about 2 to 1. It was in 2006 sectarian violence kicked into high gear. They mass murdered each other, blamed Americans, and then pretended they never wanted to be liberated. This is simple, historical fact. Also don't you dare tell me Gallup has a pro-American bias when they were the company that reported Crimeans overwhelmingly believe Russia's 2014 referendum was legitimate.

People crying about Gen Z need to realize this is what the youth have always been like. I'm 33 and when I grew up my generation was full of flag burning, terrorist hugging, dictator-worshiping malcontents too. Listen to the words of Evan Sayet or Jamie Glasnov 10 - 15 years ago and it should sound all too familiar to you.

Osama Bin Laden did not have ties to the Bush family. The Bin Laden family did, but he was disowned by his own family.
1
It's not a "new low", you just weren't political enough 10 -15 years ago to realize that. The millennials were at least as anti-American when I was growing up.
1
@balung The millenials were just like this at their age.
1
What, that doesn't even make sense. 9/11 was before the Iraq and Afghan War. Also the statistic Bin Laden cites about the sanctions in Iraq has since been debunked as Saddamist propaganda.

Osama Bin Laden was the leader of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda admitted to the attacks, and even raged at Ahmadinejad for espousing 9/11 conspiracy theories, saying he just hated Sunnis and didn't want to give them credit for such a glorious attack.
