  1. I grew up during the period the other guy is talking about, when the gay marriage issue was a hot button issue. The message from gay rights activists was always "If you're not absolutely sure you're gay, you're not gay". With the transgender movement, it seems to be the opposite, ie "If you have any inkling you might be born in the wrong body, change your pronouns."
