Exactly, they downplay slavery and then when you call them out accuse you of downplaying slavery.

What really counts as explored? Is water within 100 feet of the submarine considered "explored"? Or only 50 feet? You could comb every inch of the surface of the ocean and it would still be mostly unexplored because you had ignored the depths.

While chattel slavery is a BS term, weren't most indentured servants people who volunteered to be "enslaved" in return for a piece of land after a certain amount of time? Slavery is forced labor, and can you really be said you were "forced" to do something you agreed to? I guess in a sense, but it always makes my blood boil when people group those things together, because its like the difference between coming into someone's home with a gun and chasing them out of their house, and evicting someone because the lease they signed on their apartment is up. How can we say we live in a liberal (classical sense) society when we don't even respect Maybury's First Law?

He never said the word "slave" comes from the Slavic language. He said the ENGLISH word slave came from the ENGLISH word slav.

Nubian Slave Trader. Look up that painting.

The left: White people are born with a unique, genetic predisposition to evil. That's why they treated black people so horribly. North Africans: Hold my Quran The left: I'm going to pretend I didn't see that.

Although today we look at how black people were treated and say they were treated as "less than human", the idea that they literally weren't human beings was never official. There were laws to protect slaves in America. For example, murdering a slave was illegal. So was letting them go naked.

Hasanbi is wrong, many black slaves in America bought their freedom too.

That's not true slavery. Being paid crappy wages is not slavery, although admittedly children are a gray area since they can't truly consent to a labor contract.

But the idea that slavery was a peculiarly white or American or Western institution generates a tremendous amount of resentment and oikophobia in our society. For example, Reverend Wright, Obama's spiritual mentor, said America deserved 9/11 because of slavery. Would he have said that if he knew the things Matt Walsh states?

1) There were white slaves in America. Look up the book "White Cargo" 2) White Americans were enslaved by the Barbary Pirates, yet most Americans don't even know the Barbary Wars happened He addresses both those things in his video.

@dwoods1995 The Barbary Pirates are the reason we have a USMC. Besides, what effect does the war of 1812 have on modern America? We still learn about that.
1
@dwoods1995 But why are they erased from history? No one is saying we should talk about Barbary Pirates as much as slaves in America, but most people don't read a single sentence about them in K-12 history.
1
@dwoods1995 I learned about the The Trail of Tears in school.

Hasanabi is the type of person who would attack Lebron James' son for taking a white girl to a prom, and support segregated residences on college campuses, like so many leftist colleges do. And yet he dares accuse Matt of not wanting racial integration?
1
Yes, denying white people are born with a unique, genetic predisposition to evil is so racist.
1
During the Golden Age of anti-Americanism, foreigners loved to exploit this ignorance.
1
@samisin8745 Generally, no, they are not considered white. I believe in an interview with Jared Taylor, Cenk said he wasn't white. Chechens and Albanians are "white Muslims."

Thank you.
