  2. Birthright citizenship is where you lose me. First off, if this is about incentives, why would it apply retroactively, which from my understanding it does? Second, if someone is 30 years old but has one parent who's an illegal alien, do they deserve to be thrown out? There are no guard rails against that sort of thing in this executive order from what I understand. This is punishing someone for the sins of their ancestors, in this case their immediate ancestors, and robbing them of their individual story. This feels exactly like when the left called White people born in America "immigrants" and "illegal immigrants" to advocate for opened borders.

  5. But this isn't just about anchor babies. What if someone is 30 years old and has spent their whole life in America but has one parent who is illegal? Should they be deported? Trump's executive order has no guard rails against that.
