  4. You WERE hunting terrorists. 2006 and 2007 were the most violent years in Iraq. Peace finally came to Iraq in 2008 when 3 things happened 1) The US troop surge 2) Muqtada Al-Sadr's cease fire 3) the Anbar Awakening, when half the insurgents switched sides that started fighting for the US. When those 3 things happened, Iraqi civilian deaths fell by about 80% because America soldiers could finally do their job without being shot at by the Mahdi Army and "Nationalist" branch of the Sunni insurgency.

  8. Sorry to rain on your hate parade, but an April 2004 Gallup poll showed Iraqis thought the invasion was "worth it" by a margin of about 2 to 1. They only changed their tune in 2006 when sectarian violence kicked into high gear. Bush's crime was not knowing better than the Iraqis what was best for Iraq.
