  34. All of that's wrong. You might be thinking of slavery in sub-Saharan Africa, but in North Africa is culturally Arab. Arabs were writing racist things centuries before Europe recognized the concept of race. Read what Ibn Khaldun had to say about black people. That's why they castrated their black slaves in mass. Also it was illegal to murder slaves in America, it was just poorly enforced. You can see painting of slaves being examined naked in Arab slave markets just like in America. "Chattel slavery" is a meaningless concept, created as a last ditch effort to cling to the idea that white people are born with a unique genetic predisposition to evil.
