And while I know it gives you sick, sadistic pleasure to imagine otherwise, all slaveholders were different and acted with differently. Prager is not downplaying the horrors of slavery in America, you are downplaying the horrors of slavery elsewhere, acting like the castrated slaves in North Africa or those who were simply worked to death in a years span in the Caribbean didn't have anything important taken from them.

Prager is right. Slavery in America, while barbaric (to use his word), wasn't the worst slavery mankind had ever seen. But you want to erase the victims of those worse kinds of slavery to make America look worse by comparison.

You are downplaying the horrors of those slaves who were castrated in North Africa or worked to death in the span of a year in the Carribean. Of the slaves who were denied families.
