@drenlovette1119 1 out of every 2 pregnancies is unintentional. Most people have two kids so essentially everyone in the world who is sexually active (and straight) ends up causing an accidental pregnancy. If almost everyone who texted while driving ended up killing someone, would it not be fair to charge people who run over someone while texting and driving with responsibility for those deaths? Of course, so your pregnancy is your responsibility, no matter what "precautions" you take. Autonomy is full rights with full responsibilities. You want full rights with no responsibilities. If that child was in the hospital because you shot him/her in the kidney, and he/she needed your kidney to survive, and you did not provide it, you would be held responsible for the child's death, and either charged with murder, or manslaughter. If treating people for STDs forced us to take away life saving medicine for dying children, I would not support that either.

Banning abortion won't increase the number of welfare recipients in the slightest. Where were these oceans of illegitimate children before Roe vs. Wade which was also before we had 44+ forms of birth control? People are only as irresponsible as the world allows them to be, it's called the Peltzman Effect. Second, although I hate the welfare state, if I were going to murder to keep it at bay, I would start by murdering Democrat voters, not innocent children. And Republicans don't care about children after they are born? LOL! Your welfare state has literally not decreased poverty in the poverty rate in the slightest (this is a statistical fact) while leaving 6 in 10 kids raised in broken homes. And you don't lose a wink of sleep over this.

Okay, so if I operate on someone without washing my surgical instruments, I guess I should be able to walk away whistling dixie after they die from infections. It's not like I wanted that to happen, I just knew it would. So it's not my responsibility. Killing a baby because "people like sex" and something something organ donation. Christ.

@connor-do2bg If these sociopaths tried to be logically consistent they'd say they have no right to their bodies. If they were their mother's choice, their body is a privilege, and like any privilege it should still be ultimately under the power he or she who bestows it.

@nataliepelz7932 Women have 44 invisible forms of birth control and know where they are on their cycle yet progressives think only men should be responsible in the case of an unwanted pregnancy. Men only have condoms and often women will break up with us if we don't trust them that they are on the pill and insist on using condoms.
