  5. Even if getting a useless degree was good for the individual, it's bad for society. Encouraging people to go to college solely to get a leg up on the poor sod who didn't go to college is no better than encouraging people to make money through stealing or gambling. You are only helping yourself in so much as you hurt someone else, you're not helping yourself by being more productive. Not to mention society loses 4 years of productive labor. It's a moral stain on this nation. If I were to ever support Affirmative Action, it would be Affirmative Action for non-college grads.

  8. College encourages us to waste four years of our life in a zero sum competition that doesn't benefit society at all, all so they can take home six-figure paychecks. And those professors have the nerve to call the rest of capitalism evil.
