  1. People just refuse to accept you can train yourself to be easily offended, the same way you can train yourself to be cynical, paranoid, etc. Political Correctness is not about training people to avoid offending others, its about training people to take offense.

  5. People will be offended by anything if you tell them it's disrespectful. That's why in some cultures its considered rude to eat everything on your plate, and in other cultures the opposite is considered rude. You're doing is planting seeds in people's heads that make them offended by these words. 99% of the offense Political Correctness says we have to accomodate is caused by Political Correctness itself.

  9. Here's how Political Correctness works: People say a word. 99% of people, even those in the group it references, are not offended because they know its not an insult. But then the PC police, on behalf of the 1%, broadcast the idea that its an insult to the world. Now anyone who hears the word assumes hostile intent, and that alone makes it offensive, so now everyone is offended by the term.
