  2. She's definitely really really spoiled but if she's paying for all her own food $1000 a month is a lot less than it sounds like. I think a typical America who's single and budget conscious but not poor probably spends about $15 a day on food, which is $450 a month. So in fact she has about $500 a month of "leisure money". That's certainly nice but not as nice as it sounds on the surface.

  3. I think she has a small point. Her mother was wrong for spoiling her, but you don't take an addict off the drug cold-turkey.
