@ajsyugitube8751 People are using the Mystic Massacre of 1637 (which had absolutely nothing to do with racism as the pilgrims were fighting on behalf of the Wampanog) to trick people into believing the feast of 1621 didn't happen. Thanksgiving Feasts were a tradition that even predates the settlement of the New World.

"If you primarily studied the culture of your ancestors in elementary school, take a step forward." Except because of this pretty much anyone who grows up without exposure to rightwing counter culture believes white people are born with a unique, genetic predisposition to evil. That slavery, imperialism, and stealing land were exclusively 'white' things. I'm all for studying the history of POCs, but that's a double-edged sword. I don't see the left chomping at the bit to teach kids about the Genocide of the Dzunghar, Islamic Conquest, Unit 731, etc.
