  2. I'm a Republican and I salute the moral courage of these politicians. If they spent this money on Americans it would just lead to rage, bitterness, and demands for more and more. We know this because of all those "stimulus" checks we received during COVID (the first one was understandable, the last two were just pointless free money because the worst was over). On the other hand, this money really could really make a difference for countries like Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel. They chose to do what's right over what's fashionable.
