Wait a minute, Mohammed Ali dropped this guy's name, and took the name of a slave holder!?

Mohammed Ali was ahead of his time. He already believed being a white abolitionist made you worse than a brown slave holder. He would fit perfectly in 2020.

Not that rare. Samuel Adams and Benjamin Franklin both inherited and freed their slaves.

@larrychilders6599 Wow. History censors a white man who dedicated his life to fighting slavery and you call that a "white centric circle jerk"? Are you even trying to make sense?

Sadly it seems black see compassion as a sign of weakness. Mohammed Ali was named after this guy but dropped that name to take the name of a slave holder who called blacks "raisin heads."

It's exactly the same thing as saying "There's only one race, the human race" which University of California labels a racist microaggression.

Sort of like Nick Cannon calling white people "savages" and "closer to animals" and saying we have "less of a soul" because we have less melanin, after white people came out in the millions risking our health to protest the death of a black man, all the while the more melaninated Libyans sell blacks on the streets in slave markets in Libya.

@ongba5890 Do you think a progressive would ever say "God has made of one blood, all people of the earth"? The same people who are segregating gyms, dormitories, and dormitories on college campuses? The same people who labelled "There is only one race, a human race" a racist micro-aggression? The same people who call bedrock human virtues like "clear, linear, rational thought" and "work before play" whiteness? The same people who say white teachers should need to take special college courses before teaching "students of color"? Go to hell.

The left wants to erase white America's role in ending slavery. Just ask Amber Ruffin.

Mohammed Ali believed being a white abolitionist was worse than being a brown slave holder. He was way ahead of his time.

"God has made of one blood, all people of the earth" Meanwhile progressives are segregating dormitories, gyms, PTA meetings, teaching bedrock virtues like "be polite" and "work before play" are "whiteness", and labeling the phrase "there is only one race, the human race" a racist microaggression. Any liberal who wants to take his legacy for himself deserves a special place in hell. Hell if black people weren't your most loyal voting block you'd still be pro-slavery. Your heroes Mao, Stalin, and Castro enslaved millions.

@thatssofetch3481 I know what the dictionary definition is, and that's certainly not what I meant. I'm using it like I use the word "feminist", to refer to people who identify as 'feminist".

"God has made of one blood all people of the Earth." Reminds me of the phrase, "There's only one race, the human race." University of California says that's a "racist microaggression."

It's because Cassius was white and Mohammed was brown. This mentality still persists today, like when Nick Cannon called white people "savages" and "closer to animals" after millions of white people risked their health to protest the death of a black man, while brown Libyans were selling blacks in slave markets.

@comradepolarbear6920 So Joseph McArthy was a liberal and FDR was a conservative?

@yeetman4953 I posted a link. Google's so called anti-spam filter deleted it. Look it up yourself, it's not hard to find.

Republican Andrew Jackson.

The fact Mohammed Ali ditched Cassius Clay's name to take the name of an unrepentant slave holder is such a perfect microcosm for how the world works today.
