Comments by "Dennis" (@Dennis-nc3vw) on "Full Speech: Pres. Bush Speaks At Shanksville 9/11 Ceremony" video.
Yet according to Babylon Bee the Afghan War was on "false pretenses." It's time for rightwingers to realize America's enemies aren't exclusively on the left anymore.
2
Most of us have already forgotten. I can't count how many people I've heard claim Bush started the Afghan War.
2
@rebeccasmith8567 When Babylon Bee will say the Afghan War was started under false pretenses just to take a jab at Bush for Daddy Trump, the comparison is more than apt.
2
So is the amount of life. Look up PEPFAR and PMI. I would set you straight about Iraq too but youtube's algorithims keep deleting my comments when I try to do that.
1
Agreed, strange as it sounds I only remembered positive feelings about 9/11.
1
Imagine a human heart. It's flesh is blackened with decay. It's festering with sores. And its crawling with maggots. That's what beats in your chest right now.
1
Satan sure saved a lot of lives through PEPFAR and PMI.
1
Because both sides have embraced treachery for political gains.
1
According to Iraq Body Count, about 7/8 Iraqi civilians were not killed by coalition forces, and according to a UN report 80% of Afghan civilians were killed by the Taliban. Then add to the fact the West didn't intervene in Syria until years after their civil war broke out, and we can confidently say the overwhelming of those people were killed by people with the same ideology as the 9/11 hijackers.
1
And then he overhauled in National Security policies in ways that made his haters call him a Nazi and Fascist and Imperialist. Ragging on Bush for 9/11 is like ragging on Thomas Sowell for being a former Marxist.
1
Maybe both. Trump cultists are just as bad as the woke. Just yesterday Babylon Bee claimed the Afghan War was started on "false pretenses."
1
@stephj9378 Read the article. It's titled "President Who Started Two Wars On False Pretenses Calls For Unity."
1
87% of civilians killed in Iraq were not killed by coalition forces (source: Iraq Body Count). They were killed by terrorists who wanted to wrack up a body count because they knew people like you would blame their Western enemies for their deaths).
1
Funny how you assume he's talking about January 6th. Shows you have a guilty conscience.
1
Babylon Bee said the Afghan War was on "false pretenses" just to take a jab at Bush for Daddy Trump. Keep that in mind when you think about the lives lost.
1
@kingorbit Maybe both.
1
He saved at least twice as many lives through PEPFAR and PMI.
1
He spoke of "defiling symbols of our nation at 4:15", but funny you think this is all about you. Shows your guilty conscience.
1
When I see "Babylon Bee" refer to the Afghan War as "started under false pretenses" just to take a jab at Bush for their Daddy Trump, I think its pretty clear half the country may really be the enemy.
1
@derpeth2101 We know supported the Afghan War when it was fashionable. Don't try to throw Bush under the bus.
1
Millions? Stop making statistics up. Also, the vast majority of those Iraqis were killed by people with ideals very similar to the 9/11 hijackers (87% of civilians in Iraq were not killed by coalition forces according to Iraq Body Count and as someone who followed the war closely I think that's an understatement). Bush was trying to stop them, you wanted to appease them and hand Iraq over to them and blame their atrocities on their Western enemies. Terrorists in Iraq knew people like you would blame America for their crimes, that's why they committed so much senseless violence, like the July Soccer Bombings which seemed to target no particular sect.
1
According to a Babylon Bee post made just a few hours ago, the Afghan War was under "false pretenses." Remember that next time you think about the planes slamming into those towers.
1
Ty Tree The title of the article I'm refering to is "American President Who Started Two Wars Under False Pretenses Calls For Unity."
1
Funny how Bush speaks of "determination to defile national symbols" at 4:15, an obvious reference to people vandalized statutes of people like Washington and Jefferson, yet he Trumpsters still think he's talking about them. Shows how guilty their consciences are.
1
alex cohen What he has done? Like saved 19 million people from AIDS by starting PEPFAR? That's what the Trump White House claimed, at least.
1
Feeling guilty about something? He made reference to "defiling our national symbols" at 4:15, which is clearly a reference towards BLM and Antifa vandalizing statues. He's talking about extremists on both sides.
1
It's like Trump cast a spell. Some of the most venomous anti-Americanism I've seen in recent days has come from the right.
1
I hope Bush's words will unite true Americans against the fascists and Communists, just like his Presidency united fascists and Communists against him (both Noam Chomsky and Rocky Sudahadya hated Bush with all their heart).
1
The only post-WWII President that wasn't a war criminal was Jimmy Carter, and he's remembered as a coward. At least this war criminal saved 1.2 million people from AIDS before his term was over through PEPFAR.
1
@DoodTuber 7/8 Iraqis civilians were not killed by coalition forces (source: Iraq Body Count). They were murdered by people who knew those like you would blame their Western enemies, which created a perverse incentive.
1
What makes you think he's not talking about liberals? Why is your conscience so guilty you assume he's talking about your side the whole way through?
1
Bush was the last true American to hold office. He united the Marxists and fascists against him. Then Trump came along and now each are firmly entrenched in opposite parties.
1
Bush was the last true American in office. Now the country is in a tug-o-war between Marxist and fascists (who were united against him during his Presidency). It chills me to the core how often Trump supporters sound exactly like what I heard from the most radical and despicable Democrats when Bush served as President.
1
@E_Dtl If Bush only cared about oil, why not lift the sanctions on Iraq rather than invade?

^I had to write that backwards just to get my comment to show up. This is how good Google's "spam filter" has got at blocking truth.
1
@thomascraig6201 Bush didn't commit mass murder, the people you wanted Bush to appease and hand the Middle East over to did.
1
I'm sad you weren't in one of those towers. This "POS" saved more lives through PEPFAR and PMI than any other humanitarian effort in all of human history.
1
And Trump made many mistakes on COVID.
1
An April 2004 Gallup Poll showed Iraqis believed the invasion was "worth it" for getting rid of Saddam by a margin of more than 2 to 1. Then in the next few years they started mass murdering each other in sectarian warfare and blamed Americans. Bush's crime was not knowing better than Muslims what was best for Muslims.
1
Politics was so black and white under Bush. Then Trump came along and brought some of the worst of the Democrat Party over to the GOP. I remember a time when every Truther was on the left. I remember a time when every apologist for tyrants was on the left. I remember a time when ever Israel hating anti-Semite was on the left. I remember when everyone who used violence to further a political agenda was on the left. I spit on Trump.
