  7. No if you think this campaign would be effective you simply made it through Middle School. I don't know how it is now but when I went to school 15 years ago teenage boys were insanely insecure about their sexuality and called everything they didn't like "gay." And "ideologies"? Give me a break. Teenagers don't care about ideology, gays are just another "other" for them to mock like "nerds."

When I went to school 15 years ago, we were all told we had to tolerate and respect gays, but kids still used "gay" as insult all the time and tried to accuse each other of being gay on the flimsiest pretenses. Just because homosexuality is politically acceptable doesn't change what teens think is weird and gross and don't want to be associated with.

  21.  @GreatLuminosity  I'm pretty sure its not the straight children who are the most "toxic" about this. I had a friend (I use that term very loosely) in Middle School who used to constantly go on tirades about how 'gay' people or things were, yet he was always inventing excuses to touch other boys. Like if you were sitting next to him he'd put his hand over yours, and then laugh if you delayed even a second before pulling it away, because somehow that made you gay but not him.
