  1. Why do you keep bringing up this same old ridiculous straw man. We were alreadying learning about America's racist past every year in K-12. One of my earliest childhood memories was sitting on the carpet in front of my first grade teacher as she read to us about the Jim Crow South and asked us how it would make us feel to sit on the back of the bus. Critical Race Theory is not teaching history, the word "Theory" is in there FFS. It's an ideology. An ideology about *the present*.

  2.  @DidierPilon  Why on God's Green Earth do you assume children were getting divided over learning about the past? Like I said, almost all of us already learned about America's racist past every single goddamn year in K-12 and it never severed interracial friendships. CRT is not something that CAN "teach" about the present, it's something that DOES "teach" about the present, otherwise its not CRT, it's just history class.

  3.  @DidierPilon  CRT is not about "truth", it's an ideology that makes its conclusions and works backwards to support them. Howard Zinn himself said "Objectivity is undesirable" in teaching history.
