  1. What did the White House do? It's the Mayor who has power over the Minneapolis police department, not the Federal Government. Police brutality should have always been handled at a local level.

  2. This doesn't even make any sense, how will this solve anything? I don't know exactly how the power structure works, but I would guess its the Chief of Police who charges other police officers with crimes, and the Mayor who hires/fires the Chief of Police. Those are the two people who need to be removed and failed to do their job. What's to stop a Community Based Police Force from murdering people?
