  15. I think a lot of people just mean bland as the opposite of spicy. This is true. The spiciest Italian food I know of is pepperoni.

  18. This whole fight is silly. People bashing "White people food" are using the stuff we eat at work as packed lunch. People bashing non-White food are looking at what the poor eat. You need to compare apples to apples. Haute cuisine to haute cuisine.

  19. White food is relatively conservative in its use of spices, that doesn’t mean it’s bad. However pepperoni is nothing compared to jalapeños or chili peppers.

  27. I think a lot of people use ‘bland’ to simply mean the opposite of spicy, because there’s no word for that in English. White people food is bland in this sense. Pepperoni is as spicy as we get.
