In 1950 the life expectancy was 65, the average family spent 30% of their income on food, the median house size was less than half what it is today, etc. Taking care of kids have become TOO easy and parents have lost their will to turn boys into men and girls into women.

  5. Both conservatives want bigger government in this regard. Just go to any discussion on age of consent. I've seen conservatives unironically suggest the age of consent should be 21 or older.

  7. I work with kids ages 5 - 11. A 9 year old can survive at a park just fine. 7 and under is where I would be uncomfortable. I am SO SICK of American infantilization of our youth. Soon you won't be able to stay home without a baby sitter until you are 18.

  14.  @systematic101  Kids have sexual orientations, they are just G-rated and very non-physical. When I was a kid I didn't want to kiss anyone on the mouth or put my penis in anyone's vagina, but I did have crushes on girls and enjoy flirting with them and impressing them and enjoy their company in a way I couldn't with boys.
