Prices serve as a signalling system to direct people to most productive use of their labor.   5. Our armed forces encourage people to not be terrorists. Social welfare spending encourages people to be single mothers, to not get jobs, to get useless degrees, to stop working, etc. A good society is all about good incentives.

  6. Conservative have protested "socialism for rich people" numerous times. Watch Prager U's video on the bank bailouts, and the Manhattan Institute's video "Occupy Wallstreet on Trial". The Tea Party protested the bailouts and they called us racist.
