  1. One problem with pausing AI development, though, is it could allow the government to get way ahead of its citizens. That's a perfect recipe for tyranny, spying, etc. There will be AI out there with capabilities we won't be even aware because all advancement will be done under the umbrella of government black projects.

  5. We're going to go full circle. The internet was a wonderful means of information distribution. Soon it won't be trusted at all because how easy it is to fake things.
