Find me a single study in the entire world on why women get abortions that even allowed them to pick "I want to avoid 9 months of pregnancy" as an option. As Paul Elam said, "my body, my choice" is a post-modern guise of cover the real issue. It's really about avoiding parenthood, and parenthood is something both men and women have to deal with.

Look at LBJ's "Great Society" and see where you're so called 'caring' has brought us. Poverty rate did not decrease in the slightest (even though it was plummeting beforehand), while single motherhood grew 6X.

Why on God's Green Earth do you think we want to own guns in the first place? Obviously to defend lives, usually the lives of ourselves and our family. Look at Britain's recent murder rate and tell me gun control saves lives.

Conservatives statistically adopt more children than liberals. And donate more to charity. And volunteer more time. And donate more blood.

Look at society before Roe vs. Wade, which was also before we had 44+ forms of birth control for women. Where was this deluge of unwanted children. It was no where because lack of an easy way out made people more responsible.

You need to look up the Peltzmann Effect. The number of unwanted children and unfit parents won't increase, people will just be more responsible. Where was this flood of unwanted children before Roe vs. Wade, which was also before we had 44+ forms of birth control for women.

You sound like the people behind LBJ's War on Poverty. The same movement which didn't decrease the poverty rate at all but increased single motherhood 6X. The one and only cure to social ills is personal responsibility. Increase safety nets, you increase recklessness, and the amount of people living in poverty ends up the same. It's called "The Peltzmann Effect". Look it up.
