  1. What really scares me is how AI could be used for censorship. Youtube already has algorithms to filter comments. Imagine algorithms that could instantaneously filter the "wrong" opinion on an issue. Humans can censor opinions, but it's far less insidious because we know when they are doing it: they either have to pre-screen comments, or discover "bad" comments which people can see beforehand. But with sufficiently advanced AI, you could make a defensible idea seem indefensible, by censoring all its defenders without people even realizing it.
