  2. And he's right. We have no maximum prices, so why do we need minimum wages? In Austin minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, yet even McDonalds pays $10.75, so that "race to the bottom" argument is bullshit. The only time companies will pay minimum wage is in poor desperate economies with low cost of living and low business revenues.

If you have 20 years of work experience, and can't get a job that pays more than minimum wage, there is something seriously wrong with you, no matter what field you work in or how little education you have. Even if you worked at McDonalds for 20 years you should have been promoted several times.
