Do you really think the cops were thinking "Hmmm...he's pointing a taser at me. Let me hold my fire for now. Oh look, he missed, I guess I'll shoot him!" Their brains made the decision to shoot him the instant he pointed the taser and like any decision it took about half a second to manifest.

  3. They did not shoot him for taking the taser, they shot him when he turned to fire it. And you can't just "shoot someone in the arm." Only someone who's never weilded a handgun would say that. It's actually incredible 2 of the 3 shots they fired even hit Brooks, considering the cop was moving and aiming with one hand and firing at such rapid rate.
