Keep up the double standards, mate. You use the excuse "but boyz are hornyz!!!1" yet when a grown man has sex with a 14 year old boy I bet you are all huffing and puffing with fake self-righteous fury. Why is that? Are gay boys less horny than straight ones?

It's not complicated: these laws were made to punish people for being icky and creepy, not for doing harm. And since women can't be creepy, women don't get punished.

@Me Me No it's not. You just see it that way because society tells us male sexuality is predatory and female sexuality is benign. Studies show the effects are the same regardless of the gender of the victim and perp.

Somehow that doesn't apply when its gay men sleeping with teenage boys. Are gay boys less horny than straight ones?

@Kevin Navarro What if SHE gets pregnant!? Do you think men/boys can just shrug off becoming fathers!? What if she aborts his child? Men are just as psychologically effected by abortions as women.

So girls who chose to have sex with their teachers don't "want to bang"!? Also, you are objectively wrong, read the study "Long-term consequences of childhood sexual abuse by gender of victim."

Not that I condone what these women does, but I think its ignorant to assume anyone who goes after younger people does so because they are looking to take advantage of someone. Many of these women were teachers so the vast majority of people they knew were students, its not like they went out specifically searching for minors in their life. Second, MEN have a strong biological drive to seek out youth in a sexual partner, because it means longer reproductive life and less chance of a child being born with a genetic disorder, and this evolutionary adaption bleeds over into gay men. Men don't find dumb 37 year olds attractive, so it has nothing to do with youth being dumb and easy to take advantage of.

lasest2 Ugh, I actually came here to attack OP, but your logic is atrocious. If adults shouldn't be sleeping with teens, why the hell should teens be sleeping with teens!? Second, why the hell would a slippery slope exist with an age of 15 or 14, but not with 18 or 16? That doesn't make a goddamn bit of sense.

You honestly think girls who have sex underage don't gloat about their sexual escapades too? I've heard it plenty of times myself.

@unknown anon For some that's true, but it depends on the age. I've heard plenty of men who had sex at 13 or 14 say they later felt abused, but never heard it from someone who had sex when they were 15+.

@unknown anon Depends on the age. I've heard stories like that for boys who were taken advantage of at 14 or younger, but not older.

You're the one upholding a double standard and yet they are the pussies?

@marticus1642 Stop bastardizing the term pedophilia. Pedophilia is sex with prepubescent children. When you use the word "pedophilia" to describe sex with pubescent minors you are saying puberty happens for no reason, sex is just as natural for 17 year olds as 8 year olds, and society's taboo is as arbitrary as the drinking age.
