  14. I don't hate gays but I think there's something wrong with a society where age gaps in dating are taboo but dating someone of the same sex is sacrosanct. People who say "love is love" rarely really mean it, they just want society to play by their own set of rules, a set of rules which is completely arbitrary and not based on God, evolution, or traditions, but simply the whim of Starbucks sipping center-left women.

Take Cheryl and Quran, a famous tik-tok couple that's 40 years apart. Even though they didn't start dating until he was 24, people will say his consent is invalid because she met him (as a coworker) when he was a minor, and therefore she "groomed him." These are the same people who scream themselves hoarse that gay conversion camps for teenagers don't work, and say parenting can't turn kids gay or straight. Yet they apparently think you can "groom" a teenage boy into being a gentrophile just by being his coworker, and therefore that invalidates his consent. Bullshit. They hate the relationship because its gross and creepy. They don't believe love is love. But their either too intellectually lazy to realize this, or too spineless to admit it.

For example, there was a story where a mother married her 25 year old daughter and they went to jail. Everyone in the comments cheered the decision, many saying the daughter should be given therapy and only the mother should go to jail because she "groomed" her daughter (even though there was no evidence of this), so her daughter was a victim. But tell me, if a 25 year old is the son of a mafia boss and kills someone, do we say he's not responsible for his actions because his father "groomed" him? No. We don't even consider that. The cold hard truth is the mother and daughter were autonomous adults making a mutual decision, and we threw them in jail for that. Same thing with relationships with age gaps. We kid ourselves that it's about "power imbalance" or some shit, but really we just make up excuses to vilify people for being gross and creepy.

It might be intentional grooming, but the environment kids are brought up is clearly effecting them. However, its worth noting that its an uptick in "trans" and "bi" identification that's driving this increase more than anything. Also while I don't think people are grooming kids to be gay, I think they are trying to recruit kids into the trans identity. When I was growing up, the gay rights movement was just getting started. The message they also told us was "If you're not absolutely sure you're gay, then don't worry, you're not gay." With the gender identity movement its the polar opposite. They ENCOURAGE people to question their gender identity. Unless, of course, they are trans. Then they must never question their identity. What society needs is tolerance, but people forget what tolerance actually means. As Mr. Garrison said on South Park is "you tolerate a crying baby on an airplane, it doesn't mean it can't still piss you off."
